WE HAVE NO CONTROL OVER THESE DELAYS. WE WILL DO OUR BEST TO COMPLETE YOUR ORDER AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE PENDING AVAILABILITY OF MATERIAL.

- ALL JOBS REQUIRE 30% TO 50% DOWN PAYMENT AT THE TIME OF MEASUREMENT OR ORDER PLACEMENT. THE BALANCE IS DUE UPON INSTALLATION. THERE ARE NO REFUNDS ON COUNTER TOPS THAT HAVE ALREADY BEEN CUT/BUILT/PICKED UP/INSTALLED. ANY REFUNDS ON DEPOSITS WILL HAVE A $25.00 FEE.

- WHEN PURCHASING LAMINATE TOPS FOR PICKUP, THEY WILL BE BUILT READY TO BE INSTALLED. THIS MEANS THERE MAY BE SOME MANUAL LABOR INVOLVED AS FAR AS SCRIBING THE BACK OF THE COUNTER TOPS TO FIT THE WALLS. THIS INCLUDES TOPS THAT ARE DROPPED OFF TO BE USED AS A TEMPLATE FOR A NEW TOP. THE SCRIBE LINE CANNOT BE DUPLICATED IN OUR SHOP.

REMOVAL OF OLD COUNTER TOPS OR APPLIANCES IS NOT AUTOMATICALLY INCLUDED IN YOUR FABRICATION QUOTE. WE DO OFFER TO TAKE CARE OF THIS SERVICE FOR YOU AT AN ADDITIONAL FEE. OLD TOPS WILL BE DISPOSED OF IN OUR DUMPSTER. PLEASE ADVISE THE INSTALLERS BEFORE THEY LEAVE THE JOB SITE IF YOU WANT TO KEEP OLD TOPS.

THEREFORE IT IS RECOMMENDED TO APPLY ANY PAINT/WALLPAPER OR BACK SPLASH AFTER THE NEW TOPS HAVE BEEN INSTALLED. CARE WILL BE EXERCISED DURING COUNTER TOP INSTALLATION, HOWEVER, SCRAPES, PUNCTURES OR DIGS ARE POSSIBLE WHICH ARE INCIDENTAL DAMAGES AND WILL BE THE CUSTOMERS RESPONSIBILITY TO REPAIR.

THE SLABS ARRIVE TO OUR LOCATION WITH THE FACE ALREADY FINISHED AND NATURAL STONE MAY HAVE SMALL PITS, MARKS, OR IRREGULARITIES IN TEXTURE OR SHINE THEREFORE IT IS IMPORTANT TO VIEW AND APPROVE THE SLAB BEFORE FABRICATION WHENEVER POSSIBLE.

- YOUR SLABS SHOULD BE VIEWED AND APPROVED BEFORE TEMPLATE AND BEFORE THE START OF FABRICATION. MATERIALS FROM OUTSIDE OUR SHOP MUST BE APPROVED AND TAGGED WITH THE SUPPLIER. DEPENDING ON THE LAYOUT, MATERIAL TYPE AND LIGHTING THE LOCATION OF THE SEAM WILL BE DETERMINED BY THE COUNTER-FITTERS, INC. SEAMS MAY BE VISIBLE TO THE EYE OR TOUCH. COLOR COORDINATED EPOXY WILL BE USED TO FORM THE SEAM AND BLEND WITH THE COUNTER TOP FOR THE BEST OUTCOME. EVEN THOUGH THE CUSTOMER IS CONSULTED WITH REGARDS TO THE SEAM LOCATION, THE FABRICATOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO ADJUST IF NEEDED.

ANY ITEM THAT REQUIRES A CUT OUT WILL BE TAKEN, IF NECESSARY, AT THE TIME OF THE TEMPLATE AND RETURNED AT THE TIME OF INSTALLATION. IF THE COUNTER-FITTERS, INC. HAS TO MAKE MORE THAN 2 TRIPS TO THE JOB SITE DUE TO THE JOB SITE BEING UNPREPARED, ADDITIONAL FEES MAY APPLY. THE COUNTER-FITTERS, INC. MAY ASK TO COME OUT AND DOUBLE CHECK MEASUREMENTS AT NO ADDITIONAL COST TO CUSTOMER.

- INSTALLATION OF COUNTER TOPS IS A CONSTRUCTION PROCESS AND RESIDUAL DUST SHOULD BE EXPECTED. WE WILL CLEAN UP OUR WORK AREA AS BEST AS WE CAN, HOWEVER, THE CUSTOMER MAY WANT TO COVER AREAS TO CONTAIN ANY DUST TO THE CONSTRUCTION AREA. AFTER THE PRODUCT HAS BEEN INSTALLED, THE CUSTOMER OR DESIGNATED DECISION-MAKER, MUST BE PRESENT TO INSPECT THE CONDITION OF THE COUNTER TOPS AND THAT OUR WORK IS SATISFACTORY AND DAMAGE FREE. THE COUNTER-FITTERS, INC. IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE BY OTHER PARTIES (SUCH AS DROPPING SOMETHING ON THE COUNTER, SCRATCHES ON THE COUNTER, HITTING COUNTER, STANDING ON COUNTER, ETC.) THEREFORE IT IS CRITICAL TO INSPECT THE INSTALLATION FOR APPROVAL WHILE THE INSTALLERS ARE STILL ON-SITE.

Original quote and measurements were accurate. Had to order specialty piece for extra wide island, so install had to be scheduled for several weeks out. No problems with contacting or obtaining quote from company. Much better customer service, price and attention that I was able to find at the big box competitors. I believe in multiple quotes and this company came in average compared to others, but they definitely excelled in quality and service. I recommended them to my mother who had her countertops replaced in March of 2013 and she is very pleased with their service, quality and price.

We're still in the process of deciding, but after seeing one person express such a poor experience, I thought I should share my good experience with the community to offset. I contacted Ernie late on a Friday night to see if we could get into his showroom on Saturday (normally by appointment only) and he was very responsive to accommodate my request. Since then, we've spoken by phone, and exchanged information via email about countertop options and prices. His prices seem to be mid-range; we've received lower quotes and higher quotes.
